Laura Linney
Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on 5 February 1964. Linney is an American actor who is well-known for her talent in portraying tough characters, but also vulnerable. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father, Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow before graduating with an M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City was her first stop in 1990. She started performing immediately in the city on Broadway, earning accolades for her roles, including Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
